NewOld Telugu daily newspapers: about 38,700 issues
Andhra Patrika from 1914, Visalaandhra, Andhra Bhoomi, Andhra Jyothi, Golconda Patrika and Andhra Janatha. The Internet Archive had them without a language, so they were missing from the list. Each paper is one entry, with its issues by year.
NewAbout 2,400 more books
Uploads titled in Telugu letters but with no language given, and the Telugu books of three uploaders: vaaradhionline (Chalam, Sri Sri, Kodavatiganti and more), Ravi Mohan Rao (stotras and kavyas) and Prof. V. Viswanadham (Yuvabharati publications).
CorrectionMagazines split by month are one entry each
Titles like "Viswaprakasam May" made a separate entry for every month. Now Srivani (77 issues), Sravanti (88), Viswaprakasam, Viswa Hindu, Telugu Velugu, Swathi, the Andhra Pradesh monthly and others are one entry each: 347 periodical lists became about 200. Kothapalli is one magazine of 83 issues, each with its month, read from the scans where the title had none.
CorrectionMagazines listed under several spellings are one entry
Bharati, Andhra Patrika's monthly (1924–1990), was eight lists under different spellings, editors and volume labels; it is now one, with 903 issues. Andhra Sahitya Parishat Patrika is one list instead of nine (302 issues, 1914–1969), and Gruhalakshmi, Vaisya Prabodhini, Abhyudaya and the Andhra Pradesh monthly gained their stray issues. Wrong upload years on Digital Library of India scans (1905, 2004) no longer stretch a magazine's years. An upload titled "భారతీ" (2025) is the Bhagavad Gita with Shankara's commentary, and is now listed as that book.
CorrectionAbout 640 magazine issues were listed as books
Issues titled only by month, such as "Wisdom March", with the year given separately, now sit with their magazine, in order by year and month. Wisdom has 55 issues (1983–1997); Prajasakti's 1940s issues, Bharati, Navasakti, Jagati, Misimi and Gruhalakshmi gained issues too.
CorrectionIssue dates and years
Issues titled like "AUGUST 1 2025" or with Telugu month names now have their dates, and a periodical's years come from its issues (Andhra Pradesh: 1956–2016). Wrong dates read from upload codes (1931) or typed by mistake (2027) are gone.
CorrectionAbout 450 duplicate books merged
Copies of one book whose title or author was spaced differently, or had "Dr" in front (విద్యా మనోవిజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రము, బాల వికాసిని), are now one entry with all their scans.
CorrectionAuthors
About 400 books showed a library (Jangamwadi Math) or a scanning project (eGangotri) as their author; they now show the author named in the title, or none. Names in English letters written with different capitals are shown one way (Chandamama India Ltd).
CorrectionHundreds of Telugu titles corrected
Titles reviewed and corrected, some read from the book's own title page: శ్రీమద్భగవద్గీత – శ్రీకంఠ భాష్యం, by Bodhananda, was listed as "కంఠభాష్యం". Seven more were checked against their scans: ముదలాయిరమ్ was listed as "ముదలయ్య రామ్". A note on every page now says that Telugu titles are still being checked.
ImprovementReading on phones
Each book keeps its own zoom, and a new book opens fitted to the screen. Pinching and the − and + buttons are the same zoom. The ⋯ menu closes when you tap the page, and the bar and the reading-status buttons fit on small screens.
ImprovementSearch and sorting
Typing Telugu in the search box no longer loses letters. "Newest first" now orders the shelves at the top too, and a paper still coming out counts by its latest issue.
ImprovementRemove one book from Recently opened
In My library and in Continue reading, the × on a book takes just that book off the list. Its reading status, page and notes stay. Clear history still empties the whole list.
NewInstall the site as an app
